- Easter egg hunt at the park: forgot my camera (my phone takes horrible pictures, especially when people are running).
- Easter egg hunt/party at Grandma Zauggs: forgot my camera.
- Easter egg hunt/party at Grandma Hauns: REMEMBERED my camera, took two really bad pictures and then ran out of memory.
Nice.
Even Easter morning didn't go so well becaue it was too cold to take the kids outside to get some nice, springtime pictures in their church clothes. (Sidenote: What the @#$%^ is up with the snow this morning?!?!? It is April 26th for hecks sakes. ENOUGH ALREADY!) And even inside the nice warm house, it seemed impossible to take a halfway decent picture of all three kids at the same time. Here are the best I could do:Cora, look at the camera! Arden, don't blink!
*sigh*
I gave up and did them one at a time, and I must admit it is much easier. Here is my little Corbie:
And here is my little man:
Is that one good-lookin' little dude or what? Wow, he is growing up into a handsome little guy so fast. Right now (besides dinosaurs) his favorite thing is the color GREEN. He has to eat out of the green bowl. He has to drink out of the green cup. Every night he asks me to sing him "La La Lu" as a lullaby. One of the lines in that song is "Here comes a pink cloud for you," and he commands that I change it to "Here comes a green cloud for you," each night. I don't know about you, but a green cloud doesn't sound so great to me, but whatever. One of his favorite songs is "Yellow Submarine," but now he sings it as "Green Submarine." And don't try to tell him his eyes aren't green, he won't believe you. It goes on and on.And here is my beautiful Arden:
It was a great Easter! I am a little sad that it is over, especially since they won't be selling any Cadbury mini-eggs so I won't be able to get my cookie fix after this batch is gone. Hopefully the withdrawal symptoms are not too bad.

I should write an ode to little girls' Easter dresses - I heart them that much and your little angels' are adorable!
